Using short, downward strokes, gently glide the razor across your skin in the direction of hair growth. Move the razor in small sections, working your way across your face. Avoid going over the same area multiple times to prevent irritation.
Depending on your skin's sensitivity and hair growth, you can typically dermaplane once every 2 to 4 weeks. Avoid dermaplaning too frequently to prevent irritation and over-exfoliation.
